05.04 - Civic Action Problems and Source Sheet

At the beginning of class today, we checked in and discussed the general problems that people saw in our community that they feel they would like to address through a civic action project. 

After discussing these projects, we began setting up a spreadsheet in Google Drive that people will use to record their sources and manage notecards from their research. Since spreadsheets are a really useful organizational tool that are worth knowing how to create, I walked everyone through the process of creating a spreadsheet for their sources page (click here to see the model sources sheet).

At the end of class, I handed out and reviewed how to use a website citation sheet that people should use with tonight's homework.
